They will be joined by one of our favourite groups, The Twiddlers (unfortunately only Kate and Carl because of teaching commitments). Two wonderful artistes touring together this autumn. Malin is part of the Scottish folk band - Malin Makes Music which has received rave reviews. Malin plays a self-made two-octave Lindsay System chanter invented by Donald Lindsay. The pipes are one of only a few existing sets. Jon is a Newcastle-based folk singer and multi-instrumentalist from Gloucestershire and a 2019 finalist on BBC Radio 2's Young Folk. With his sensitive approach to arranging and performing traditional songs on guitar and Irish bouzouki Jon never fails to capture the beauty and excitement that lies within traditional music. This should be a spectacular evening. |
