Three fully grown men who should know better! After a phenomenal Christmas extravaganza (totally sold out) the Jocks will be returning this spring – neatry 50 years since they first began performing, with 10 albums to their credit. The roots are in folk music but this has developed over the years to encompass contemporary music, bluegrass, country and a generous helping of humour. They have appeared throughout the UK, Western Europe and as far distant as the Middle East and Far East, but they have a firm Birmingham base!

The electrifying sound of Birmingham’s fiery, (un)traditional folk band Bonfire Radicals is both intensely creative and irresistibly fun. Their live set is a frenzy of energy – “dynamic and high octane” – and captures the adventurous breadth of their musical imaginations which emerge from a melting pot of original and traditional tunes from the British Isles to the Balkans.

David Fisher walked into Evan C Ritchie’s barber shop for a haircut carrying the implements of his busking trade.

Conversation revealed a mutual love of the traditional music of the ocean and the land, and Kings Heathens was formed.

Evan C Ritchie is from Texas and came to the club for the first time in 2022. Individually they are great: together spectacular.
