Jack Blackman & Chessi O’Dowd

Jack Blackman is fast developing into one the most accomplished and exciting young performers on the scene today.

His guitar playing has been described as 'exceptional' by Whispering Bob Harris. He has performed his songs all across the country and as far as the Mississippi Delta. Having cut his teeth in his teens trading licks with such luminaries as Paul Jones and The Blues Band, more recently with Tony Joe White and receiving accolades from Martin Simpson who marvelled, ‘At last! A brilliant young guitarist coming through’, Jack is no stranger to blues and folk. On his latest album, he fuses this with country, rock and pop with a voice that has been described as sounding 'older and more careworn than his tender years should allow’.

Jack is an artist not to be missed.

Chessi O'Dowd is a Warwickshire based singer songwriter who has performed across various parts of the UK, Western Australia and performed at festivals such as Godiva Festival and Elementary.
Chessi's most recent single 'The Pines' was finally set free on the 24th of September 2021 and has received critical acclaim.

Chessi is an advocate for mental health awareness and environmental issues which partly stems from her love of surfing, the ocean and the outdoors, themes of which you will find interwoven throughout her music.

The recent collaboration between these exciting new talents on Pensacola has been described as moody and magnificent with  two musicians clearly having a ball with a song they love.
