Susy Wall / Gren Bartley |
|
Having spent her first 18 years growing up in a small town on the edge of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales, Susy has always been in love with melody and song. This underpins both her writing and performing and is a fundamental part of who she is as an artist. Studying piano from the age of six and teaching herself the guitar at 15, Susy's musical background was varied. At home, her parents introduced her to a plethora of sounds and styles, from classical arias to songs from the musicals. At school, she developed a love for all things 80's, falling love with the tunes from Deacon Blue, Aztec Camera and Del Amitri, to name but a few. Gren Bartley is a UK-based composer and songwriter creating emotionally resonant, story-driven music for film, television, theatre, and radio. With a background in folk and world music, Gren blends organic instrumentation with cinematic textures to craft distinctive, versatile soundscapes that enhance narrative and atmosphere. Having composed for award-winning theatre productions, BBC radio and television, and self-released albums, Gren brings a deep understanding of how music connects with character, setting, and emotion. His work spans genres — from delicate acoustic themes and atmospheric underscore to rhythmically driven pieces ideal for trailers or advertising.
of rights and rapid turnaround. Whether you're looking for an intimate cue, a haunting theme, or a complete score, his music is built to serve story and screen. |
